International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 2025

As part of the 'A Day Is Not Enough' event - Wisdom against gender violence, on Thursday, 27 November 2025 to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Department of Chemistry's Gender Equality Group, in collaboration with the student collective, is organising an event entitled

Toxic Masculinity: What it is and How to Combat it

This will take place from 16:30 in Lecture Hall A on the first floor of the S. Cannizzaro Building (CU014).

• Gaia Peruzzi, Professor of Media, Gender and Diversity in the Department of Communication and Social Research
• Anna Maria Speranza, Director of the Department of Dynamic and Clinical Psychology and University Psychological Counselling Services Delegate
• Silvia Cataldi, Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes at the Department of Developmental Psychology and Socialization Processes
• Costanza Checcucci, Psychologist at the Prima Centre
• Alessandra Vulterini, Trainer for the Gen3ract Project of Rome's Municipality II, and Operator at the Donna LISA Anti-Violence Centre

There will be two short plays by Gloria Federici and Aurora Cippitelli, performed by Mari Marino, Marta Spaccini, Elettra Tercon and Lucrezia Tamagno.

And finally, there will be an aperitif to chat together.
